THE WEAVING CENTER, located in Tarrytown, New York in Westchester County, is a non-profit community center established to encourage the artistic use of fibers in general and weaving in particular. The Center has more than 20 floor looms from 70 cm wide (28 inches) to 150 cm wide (60 inches). One loom is designated to weave rugs. Beautiful yarns, warping mills and all related accessories are available.

Individual weavers: Looms can be rented for those interested in creating their own projects. Occasionally, one may have to wait for a loom to be available. Fee: $350 per month or $120 for three days. Fees include some instruction, use of equipment and loom. Please see Loom Rental Policy page for more information.
“Friend of the Weaving Center” Membership: Those not interested in renting a loom, but wishing to spend time at the Weaving Center interacting with experienced weavers, have access to the extensive library and/or use equipment on premises (including warping mills, fringe twisters, cutting boards, etc.) can become a “Friend of the Weaving Center”. Fee: $250 per year
Yarns for Sale: A beautiful collection of wool, linen and cotton yarns are available for purchase during regular business hours.
Gift Certificates: The following categories of gift certificates are available for purchase at the Weaving Center: (1) Loom Rental ($350 per month or $110 for 3 days), (2) Friend of the Weaving Center membership ($250 for one year), (3) All Purpose gift certificates sold in $50 denominations which can be applied toward loom rental, workshops, Friend of the Weaving Center membership or yarn purchases.

Hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm; Wednesday & Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 pm.
