THE WEAVING CENTER, located in Tarrytown, New York in Westchester County, is a non-profit community center established to encourage the artistic use of fibers in general and weaving in particular. The Center has 20 floor looms from 70 cm wide (28 inches) to 150 cm wide (60 inches). One loom is designated to weave rugs. Beautiful yarns, warping mills and all related accessories are available.

Individual weavers: Looms can be rented for those interested in creating their own projects. Occasionally, one may have to wait for a loom to be available. Fee: $85 for three days or 10 hours; $300 per month. Fees include instruction, use of equipment and loom.
